radial tires

has anyone tried radial tires on wide 5 ford wheels. This is for a 36 ford. I switched to radials last year on my 54 ford and they are great.

hi yes i had them on wide 5,s albeit with NEW 6" rims fitted to them and found them to be really good especially on rougher roads

One question re your 54 do you remember you F/E settings with the radials please

You usually want a little less toe-in with radials. Bias ply needs some "scrub", radials don't. Just wears them out. But running with less toe-ion you need to have a tight system. Recently bought new P235/75-15's for my truck, they are just wonderful, I can take my hands off the wheel without fear.
